International Dissemination Conference - “Forensic DNA analysis in the light of the new security needs”
The European Forensic Genetics Network of Excellence - EUROFORGEN-NoE - announces the International Dissemination Conference “Forensic DNA analysis in the light of the new security needs” to be held on 23rd June 2016 in Venice, in connection with the Intersocietal Symposium of the International Academy of Legal Medicine (IALM).
We would like to invite you to take part in this meeting, no matter your area of expertise. A wide range of experts are involved in the whole process from crime scene to court room, such as police, medical examiners, forensic scientists, legal experts, the judiciary, policy makers, and others.
This interdisciplinary meeting is an excellent opportunity to get in touch with experts from the same or different fields of interest, realize the needs of all parties involved in the investigation of crime and the security system, and establish new and more powerful collaborations that will improve the administration of justice.
At this conference, the EUROFORGEN-NoE Consortium will give a broad overview about the research and networking activities carried out during the entire funding period, and will also invite scientists and experts to discuss recent scientific, legal and societal developments in the context of the application of forensic genetics to the administration of justice.
